Welcome to Rosemary Child Center
I'm Ms. Rose (Arezoo Khosravi), the proud owner and founder of Rosemary Child Center. With a passion for early childhood education and a background in business, I've created a unique and nurturing environment for young children to grow and thrive.
My Story
As an ECE/IT teacher with over 6 years of experience working with children, I've had the joy of watching little ones learn and develop. My educational background includes studying at Sprott Shaw, Vancouver Career College, and Capital College. In addition to my early childhood education credentials, I also hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and have 20 years of experience as a bank manager in my home country, Iran. As a mother of two wonderful sons, I understand the importance of providing a loving and supportive environment for children to flourish.
Our Journey
After gaining valuable experience in the childcare industry, I decided to pursue my dream of opening my own daycare. Rosemary Childcare was born in 2023 with our first branch in Pitt Meadows, offering group daycare for children under 36 months. We're excited to have expanded to our second branch in Maple Ridge in 2024, catering to children aged 3-5 years.
Our Mission
Nurturing Young Minds in a Happy, Healthy, and Inspiring Environment, Where Curiosity Thrives and Futures Flourish!
At Rosemary Child Center, our mission is to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment that fosters holistic growth, creativity, and resilience in young children. We empower children to become capable and confident learners, embracing their unique potential and curiosity. Through play-based learning and positive relationships, we cultivate a sense of belonging, empathy, and social responsibility, preparing children for a lifetime of exploration, discovery, and success.
Our Philosophy
At Rosemary Child Center, we are guided by a deep understanding of child development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing environment that promotes holistic growth. We believe that every child is a unique individual with inherent potential, and that a happy and supportive setting is essential for optimal development. Our philosophy is rooted in the following core principles:
- Child-centered approach: We prioritize the needs and interests of each child, recognizing that they are active participants in their own learning journey.
- Play-based learning: We harness the power of play to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, aligning with best practices in early childhood education.
- Positive relationships: We foster strong, supportive relationships between children, educators, and families, recognizing that these bonds are fundamental to a child's sense of belonging and well-being.
- Inclusivity and diversity: We celebrate the diversity of our community, promoting an environment of inclusivity, respect, and empathy.
- Resilience: We aim to cultivate resilience in our children, empowering them to navigate challenges, adapt to change, and develop a growth mindset.
- Inspired by Emilio Reggio's approach: We embrace the Reggio Emilia philosophy's emphasis on curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, recognizing the child as a capable and competent learner.
